FLAT CUTTING DISC FOR STAINLESS STEEL AND OTHER FERROUS MATERIALS WITH DIMENSIONS 125x1,6x22,23mm AND SERIES A46T

SKU: 010355B

Standard stainless steel cutting discs which attract a high level of repeat orders from customers who try them. This standard line of cutting discs is developed for the demanding industrial users within the metal and stainless steel industry. These discs are suitable for use on angle grinders. All of our JPQ Tools discs are made using high quality and long lasting materials which makes them enduring and working efficiently. They stand out due to their good stability, fast cutting capacity, long lifespan and concurrent low cost price. These cutting discs are manufactured according to safety standard EN 12413. With JPQ’s cutting tools, workers can optimize their work and reduce the costs while ensuring 100% safety.

Currently JPQ Tools offers following diameters for cutting stainless steel: 115mm, 125mm, 150mm, 180mm and 230mm, with thickness of 1.0mm, 1.6mm and 1.9mm. JPQ Tools cutting discs are available in 2 major forms: flat and depressed center, or raised center hub. These are also the two most common cutting discs profiles.

The flat cutting discs are the more common and offer more versatility. Thanks to the entire cutting surface is flat, the center hub will have least interfering with the workpiece. The users can use more of the cutting disc for cutting up and over two different planes of cutting surface such as profiles, corners, etc.

The depressed cutting discs, on the other hand, are ideal for getting into tight corners or overhangs, or for whenever the operator needs additional offset from the grinder to perform the cut. The depressed center discs offers the extra clearance when needed to get the job correctly done. Nevertheless, technique plays a major role in both the speed of the cut and lifespan of the cutting disc. The user must be careful not to plunge too deep into the cut, as the raised hub can interfere with the material being cut and ultimately compromise the structural integrity of the cutting disc.

JPQ Tools stainless steel cutting discs are specially designed for several materials, with the guarantee of getting an optimal cutting result. They are ideal for cutting steel, stainless steel (inox), structural steel, high alloyed steel, metal sheets and much more. Having a thin section, they work cooler on the metal, cut faster and produce less waste. As these cutting discs are almost entirely free of iron and sulphates, they are ideally suited for cutting stainless steel, practically without any burring. The ultra thin version of the cutting disc allows You to work extremely precisely. In the smaller diameters, extra thin design of disc provides a good degree of rigidity for accurate cutting. Other designs may be a fraction of a millimeter thinner, but it is totally wasteful if disc flexing causes the cut to go adrift. Besides cutting stainless steel, our JPQ Tools cutting discs are also popularly used for cutting mild steel. They are specially designed for cutting several kinds of ferrous materials, such as:

  • stainless steel
  • inox stainless steel
  • hard alloy steel
  • mild steel (plain-carbon steel, low-carbon steel)
  • cast iron (gray cast iron, white cast iron and malleable cast iron)
  • wrought iron
  • structural steel
  • aluminum alloy
  • etc.

Other features of our stainless steel cutting discs include:

  • standard cutting tool with high precision
  • good performance with long service lifetime, for easy working with low tool pressure
  • the chemical purity is a requirement of machining stainless steel in order to avoid impairments to the material, such as corrosion, pitting corrosion or a reduction in the fatigue strength
  • Iron (Ferrum - Fe), Sulfur (S) and Chlorine (Cl) content under 0,1% for increasing protection against corrosion when processing stainless steel with highest demands
  • reinforced by fiber glass nets; two or three nets for each cutting disc
  • for processing thin-walled profiles and pipes
  • etc.

These cutting discs series have the following specifications:

Blade Diameter: 125mm has Max. rotation speed: 12250 rpm.
